Graafship is pleased to announce that the building of the 37m sailing yacht Wolfhound is going as planned and the yard expects to have the hull completed before the second quarter of 2014. After months of hard work, the contours of the majestic superyacht Wolfhound are starting to become visible.

A new milestone is reached in the Schooner Wolfhound project. After the completion of all the individual sections, which include two tank sections, one motor section, three deck sections, one head section and one back section progress on the assembly of all the parts together has begun. The two tank sections, one motor section and two deck sections are already attached to each other. Being more than 60% completed, the steel hull is already clearly getting the desired wooden shape.

Schooner Wolfhound is a John Alden 347 design, originally designed back in 1927 with dimensions L.O.D 121,2’, L.W.L. 91,6’, beam 24,0’, draft 12.0′, a displacement of 182 tons and currently in build at the yard of Graafship in the Netherlands.
