MDL’s Italian marina – Marina dei Cesari – is once again set to welcome the renowned Fano Jazz By The Sea event to its exclusive five-star facilities later this month (25th – 31st July).
The annual festival, now in its 19th year, is one of Italy’s top musical events and draws spectators from all over the country and beyond. This year’s event will feature a wide variety of renowned jazz artists from across the world for a series of spectacular performances.
The dramatic on-water stage at Marina dei Cesari will feature a performance from one of the greatest guitar virtuosos of all time, John McLaughlin. John was included in Rolling Stone magazine’s ‘100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time’, and has played alongside many other legendary guitarists including Jimi Hendrix and Carlos Santana. The world famous British guitarist will be accompanied by his band The Fourth Dimension, a group that includes superb musicians such as keyboard player Gary Husband, drummer Ranjit Barot and bass player Etienne Mbappe.
A full programme of musical performances will also be running all week at the marina’s J Lounge Bar and Restaurant, with a range of Italian and International musicians showcasing their skills.
Marina dei Cesari is located in the Adriatic Sea in the picturesque coastal town of Fano, 30 miles south of Rimini in Eastern Italy. Offering one of the most luxurious marinas in MDL’s portfolio, Marina dei Cesari was launched last year by MDL and offers its customers 400 fully serviced berths, 24 hour security, an exclusive J Lounge bar and restaurant, fuel station and yacht stores.
