Horizon Yachts is delighted to announce that they have ranked number 11 in the Top 25 shipyards by number of yachts delivered according to the annual Superyacht Intelligence Report, released by The Superyacht Report. The prominent Taiwan-based builder also ranked number 14 in the Top 25 shipyards by total LOA delivered.
Horizon Ranks Eleventh in the Superyacht Intelligence Report’s Top 25 Shipyards
The Superyacht Intelligence Report takes an in-depth look at new build activity from years 2009-2013, specifically at shipyards that have delivered five or more luxury yachts. Within five years, a total of 948 yachts were delivered around the globe from 185 shipyards; yet only 47 shipyards delivered more than 5 or more yachts, and only 20 shipyards delivered more than 10 yachts. Horizon is one of those 20 shipyards, delivering 18 yachts for a total of 2,038.39 feet (621.30 m) during that time. Horizon is also the highest-ranking Asia Pacific luxury yacht builder within the report, as well as the only Asia-Pacific luxury yacht builder in the Top 25 shipyards by average ranking.
