Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology was commissioned by Drettmann and Acico Yachts to design and build the entire electrical system as well as various alert systems for the new 24-metre motor yacht Drettmann Explorer 24, currently under construction. This will perform at the company’s facilities in Enkhuizen, the Netherlands, in partnership with their subsidiary, Marble Automation.
Drettmann Explorer Yacht 24 to feature electrical system by Piet Brouwer
Drettmann Yachts from Germany has ordered the construction of the 24-metre superyacht Drettmann Explorer 24 from Acico Yachts in the Netherlands. This is the first time Drettmann Yachts has commissioned a project in the Netherlands. The yacht is being built for a German owner who will be closely involved in the entire construction.
Luxury yacht Drettmann Explorer 24 was designed by Drettmann Yachts and Focus Yacht Design. A unique feature is her diesel-electric POD drive propulsion system, which allows for a top speed of thirteen knots and a range of 5,000 nautical miles.
