e3 Systems have inaugurated a new office in Fort Lauderdale and appointed David Horacek as their new US VP for Direct Sales. Horacek joins e3 from Linkscape, a maritime VSAT service provider. His previous positions have all been in the field of providing global voice, data, as well as IT solutions both on land and at sea.
“David has extensive experience in communications sales and business development in the maritime and yachting industry. We are delighted that he has joined us at a time of expansion into the US market,” commented Roger Horner, e3 Systems Managing Director.
Over the past few years e3 have expanded into Malta, Antigua, France and Italy. Last year the company sold 60% of its equity and became part of the Spanish based group grupoarbulu which has offices worldwide and operates in the commercial and fishing marine electronics markets.
Horner went on to say: “e3 specialises in providing technology to connect people globally. We are a communications integrator and provide the most effective solutions for yachts from a best of breed selection of services. This allows our clients to do what they want to do wherever they want to do it. The opening of our US office forms part of our strategy to expand our direct service and support in the key yachting hubs”.
