Diana Yacht Design has revealed its latest superyacht concept, 55m/180ft BLUEBIRD. The design brief called for an expedition yacht that was suited to charters as well as family adventures, while providing plenty of exterior deck space for alfresco lounging and dining.

The new design comes as the company looks to the future, having recently expanded and moved to new premises. Diana Yacht Design has found its most rewarding projects to be those where they also completed the exterior styling, which was seven of its 21 builds in the past decade. To increase this figure, Diana Yachts has created a new international design team, among which is 2017 Boat International Young Designer Award finalist Casper Marelis. Design concepts will be technically evaluated by the in-house naval architecture and engineering teams for a high-quality result.
