Dutch builder, Moonen Yachts, has released a great video below, showing the new 37-metre superyacht MARTINIQUE taking shape. Destined for cruising the world in warm and exotic climates, this exciting new vessel is named after an island in the Caribbean, and is expected to be completed just in time for the 2017 season.

The hull is built of high tensile steel which – mixed up with a smart hull design and Moonen’s ‘enhanced length principle’ (ELP) – provides a cool turn of speed, remarkable fuel savings and plenty of comfort. The innovative use of high tensile steel also ensures that MARTINIQUE is lightweight, which increases speed further and notably reduces draft. This in turn makes the yacht perfect for cruising in the Caribbean, especially in shallow drafts places like the Bahamas.
