Palumbo Group has sent CharterWorld the latest photos of first sea trials of the Columbus 177 superyacht Prima after her launch on the 20th June 2011. Megayacht PRIMA is a 54 m Superyacht built at Palumbo Shipyard in Naples for a Shipping Company, owner of Columbus Yacht brand.

The motor yacht PRIMA was designed by Sergio Cutolo of Hydro Tec Naval Architecture and features interior design by Tommaso Spadolini of Spadolini Studio Design.
M/Y “Prima” has a full displacement of about 700t and has a massive internal volume from her 10.2m beam with large common areas. She is able to accommodate up to 12 guests in six staterooms including full beam Owner’s cabin with balcony and VIP cabin on the bridge deck.

Her steel hull is grey in colour and her white superstructures built of light alloy to reduce the weight and provide high stability. The hull is round displacement type with bulge and a transom stern. She offers a range of 5,000 nautical miles at 12 knots with a maximum speed of approximately 18.5knots.

Superyacht Prima was built in compliance with the Rules of ABS and she is suitable for unrestricted navigation with following class notation Maltese Cross A1, Yachting Service, UMS. She also obtained RINA Green plus as an additional notation class
