The new 56m classic ketch sailing yacht Aquarius was lowered into the water for the first time after being brought from Royal Huisman’s shipyard in Vollenhove. Dutch built, this beautiful superyacht is going to have her two masts stepped and rigging installed before being tested in the North Sea. She will then be handed over to her owner.

Royal Huisman worked with Dykstra Naval Architects and Mark Whiteley, the well-known superyacht interior designer to create this amazing vessel. Rondal with Doyle Sails New Zealand built the two carbon masts and supplied the sails too.

Godfrey Cray, the project manager, oversaw the entire build project. He sent a message on behalf of the owner to the building team which applauded the quality of the work carried out. He mentioned the careful attention to detail and the pride that was shown throughout the building process.
