The J Class 2012 Regatta DVD called “The Legend Lives 2012” is now available, as proudly announced by the J Class Supporters’ website.

DVDs are available for pre-order now at a cost of £25.75 incl. P&P (to Europe), DVDs will be dispatched on or before Monday 22nd October and can be ordered on-line.
The Regatta DVD contains action from a series of challenging races from Falmouth and the Solent, finishing with the classic “Hundred Guinea Cup” race around the Isle of Wight.
Luxury yacht Velsheda, Lionheart superyacht, charter yacht Ranger and sailing yacht Rainbow travelled to the UK from around the world to meet in the Olympic summer of 2012, to challenge each other with one overriding aim…to win!
The DVD shows some of the history, the build up, and preparation by each of these superb yachts as they get ready to approach the race line, wait for the starting flag and then, powered only by wind and tide, challenge each other in tough races through gruelling conditions to be the fastest J Class yacht.
Footage includes interviews with some of the owners, captains and crew of yachts who tell the stories behind the races, and it is possible to learn something of the sporting rivalry between these magnificent yachts. One can find out what it is really like to be part of one of the greatest yachting fleets in history.
