Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS) Exhibitors won in their categories at the 2013 Club Marine Australian Marine Export and Superyacht Awards. The Show is set to start tomorrow, Thursday, May 23, 2013.
This year’s Club Marine Australian Marine Export and Superyacht Industry Awards Winners were just unveiled at the Industry Gala Dinner in Sanctuary Cove, Queensland, Australia.
Launched by Delta Marine in 2008, the lovely Setzer-designed 38m expedition yacht Marama received the Voyager’s Award at the 2013 World Superyacht Awards. This prize was introduced by Alloy Yachts in 2009.
Awarded with a special mention at the 2012 Millennium Yacht Design Awards (MYDA) held during the last year’s SEATEC, the 32-metre superyacht Cronos concept is a beautiful project, developed by Simone Madella and Lorenzo Berselli. It takes inspiration from the interior space as well as exterior styling of a galleon.
The magnificent 47-metre superyacht Lady Petra by Heesen Yachts was awarded a prestigious Neptune in the category ‘Best Motor Yacht Below 500 GT’ at the World Superyacht Awards 2013, handed over during the Awards ceremony in Istanbul, on May 4.
It has been a great success for Marina at Keppel Bay at the recent Marine13 International Conference and Exhibition, having received two prizes: the ‘International Marina of the Year 2013-2014’ award as well as the ‘Best Environmental Initiative’ award.

Originally built by Feadship in 2000, the majestic 62-metre mega yacht Faith has been beautifully refitted by Compositeworks last year. With naval architecture by Azure Yacht Design & Naval Architecture, she was honored with the World Superyacht Award 2013 in the ‘Best Refitted Motor Yacht 2013’ category.
Set to run immeditely prior to the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, this year’s ASMEX (Australian Superyacht and Marine Export Conference) will kick off next week, hosting key buyers from all over the world.
Designed by renowned UK design firm of Reymond Langton, the voluminous 74-metre mega yacht Mogambo was honored with the World Superyacht Award 2013 as the ‘Best Motor Yacht’ in the category of ’1,300 GT and above’.
Having hosted the largest ever display of Princess yachts to date, this year’s Singapore Yacht Show saw the prestigious UK luxury yacht manufacturer, Princess Yachts, receive an award for ‘Best Brand Collection’ at the event’s VIP gala preview.
