It was a very successful second edition of annual “Discover Indonesia” yachting event, organised by Asia Pacific Superyachts Indonesia at The Haven at Yacht Haven Phuket. All captains, considering cruising the magnificent Asian yacht charter destination – Indonesia this year, were invited.
Set to start on February 18th, the Royal Ocean Racing Club’s 5th edition of CARIBBEAN 600 yacht race will be once again hosted by a magnificent Caribbean yacht charter location – Antigua. The event will be attended by 47 yachts.
The last year’s Dubai International Boat Show was a resounding success, with over 26,000 visitors attending the event. The expectations for this year’s premier superyacht event in the Middle East will be even better.

The President of ISS (International Superyacht Society), Ken Hickling, will be participating in the upcoming Opportunities in Superyachts Conference. He will be discussing the ISS’s industry-wide ethics initiative.
Late February will see major Victorian marine exporters, together with the Australian International Marine Export Group (AIMEX), take part in a Trade Mission to Turkey. Subsequently, they will participate in the 2013 Dubai International Boat Show.
The Marina Industries Association (MIA) will take the internationally renowned Intermediate Marina Management Course (IMM) to Hong Kong this February, under the banner of the Global Marina Institute (GMI). The next regional IMM course will be conducted on the Gold Coast Australia in August.
February 13 in Auckland’s Wynyard Quarter will see the AYSS Superyacht Global Network host a Captain and Crew Party – PacificNet.
This year’s Loro Piana Caribbean Superyacht Regatta & Rendezvous will host an impressive number of luxury vessels. So far, 21 sailing yachts and 6 motor yachts have registered, including such spectacular vessels as the 56 m Perini Navi charter yacht Phantalassa.
The 5th edition of La Belle Classe Superyachts, initiated by Yacht Club de Monaco, once again hosted the superyacht industry leaders, in order to discuss the economic situation.
This year’s London Boat Show was a great success. The event was attended by 93,327 visitors in total and was marked by more than 40 launches.
This year’s Dubai International Boat Show will kick off in less than 6 weeks. The top superyacht directory, Yachting Pages, will be attending, presenting its Superyacht Owners’ Guide (SYOG).
