Registration for this year’s Loro Piana Caribbean Superyacht Regatta & Rendezvous will close on January 30, 2015. Set to run in the beautiful Virgin Gorda yacht vacation location from March 11 to 14, the popular Caribbean regatta will host such outstanding vessels as the 60m Perini Navi charter yacht Seahawk.
This year’s Hainan Rendez-Vous will start on November 27, boasting improved supporting facilities. The exhibition area will expand 30% from 4589 square meters as in 2014 to 6000 square meters, and the number of exhibitors will also increase 33%, from 90 to 120.
IGY Marinas’ Rodney Bay Marina, a breath-taking St. Lucia yacht vacation destination, has won the 2015 Superyacht Marina of the Year Runner Up from The Yacht Harbour Association (TYHA). This five-star marina can accommodate superyachts measuring up to 285ft in LOA.

The winners of the Marina of the Year Awards 2015 were announced by The Yacht Harbour Association (TYHA) at the recently concluded CWM FX London Boat Show. The Superyacht Marina of the Year 2015 Award went to Porto Montenegro, nestled in the lovely Montenegro yacht vacation location.

The winner of the inaugural Superyacht UK Design competition has become David Rowles, a third year student from Coventry University. Sponsored by BMT Nigel Gee as well as Pendennis Shipyard, the competition is designed to raise the profile of the essential hand-drawing skill.
