This year marks the 23nd anniversary of the International Superyacht Society (ISS) Awards for Design & Leadership. The “Blue Rendezvous” themed gala event will be held at DCOTA (Design Center of the Americas) to kick off the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show on the new evening of Wednesday 30th October 2013.
Measuring 72 meters in length, the impressive VSY superyacht STELLA MARIS has been declared a finalist in the ISS (International Superyacht Society) Design Awards 2013.
Today, October 3, was marked by arrivals day of the 9th annual Oyster Regatta Palma, kicking off tomorrow. The race will be attended by 26 Oyster yachts, measurig from 14 to 30 meters in LOA.

The forthcoming Rolex Middle Sea Race 2013 will mark the end of the Mediterranean sailing season. To be hosted by the lovely yacht charter destination – Malta, the event is expected to be attended by more than 100 international yachts.
The event calendar of the Australian International Marine Export Group (AIMEX) is full of key shows. The Group attended the recently concluded Monaco Yacht Show and the Auckland Boat Show, and will also participate in the next week’s Club Marine Mandurah Boat Show, as well as the upcoming Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show and METS.
Pendennis-refitted superyacht A2 (ex Masquarade of Sole) has been nominated as a finalist for the 2013 ISS Design and Leadership Awards in the Motor Yacht Refit category. The winners will be unveiled later this month.
The Challenger of Record for the 35th America’s Cup has become the Hamilton Island Yacht Club. Its Australian team will represent all challengers in dealings with the defender Oracle Team USA of Golden Gate Yacht Club, San Francisco.
Taken place from September 26 to 29, this year’s Auckland On Water Boat Show was attended by plenty of boat buyers. The event hosted over 180 exhibitors and more than 90 boats.
