The UAE is set to strengthen its position as yacht manufacturing hub as country’s USD 61 Billion maritime industry expands. Next month’s Dubai International Boat Show 2015 is expected to have AED 1 Billion worth of boats on display.
This year’s 74th annual Progressive Insurance Miami International Boat Show has been a resounding success. The event hosted 96,009 visitors from all over the world. Plans are already well underway for 2016.
Great news for Spain yacht charter: thanks to the new yachting legislation, Network Marine Consultants administered no less than 33 superyacht charter licences in 2014. These brand new licences were for 25 motor yachts, four sailing yachts and four catamarans, up to a substantial 52 metres LOA.
The all-new 250-page ‘Cruising Guide to Indonesia’ was described and introduced at the event, which was held by Asia Pacific Superyachts Indonesia in the fantastic Thailand yacht charter location – Phuket earlier this month. The Guide was given to each of the attending 20 superyacht captains in celebration of the launch.
