Transatlantic Race 2015 will be attended by new supermaxis, including the majestic 100-foot superyacht Comanche, as well as the 88-foot sailing yacht Rambler 88. The race will start from Newport in Rhode Island in late June and early July of 2015.

This means that at dawn on day three, the battle for the overall lead is between charter yacht Lupa of London and Southern Wind 94 luxury yacht Windfall.
Fassmer, a member of the DEUTSCHE YACHTEN working group, has produced a concept study based on their 65-metre Explorer Yacht that comprises features ranging from a helipad to an underwater lift. The project has been developed in partnership with the engineers from beiderbeck designs.
