The Naples America’s Cup World Series 2013 Day 2 saw a great success of ORACLE TEAM USA SLINGSBY and Energy Team, along with a jarring collision between Emirates Team New Zealand and Luna Rossa Challenge.
The fabulous yacht charter destination – Scotland will be hosting the 4th edition of The Fife Regatta this summer. The event will be attended by such majestic vessels designed by William Fife as the 105ft classic yacht Moonbeam of Fife (ex Moonbeam III).
Attended by 19 Oyster yachts varied in size from 45ft to 82ft, this year’s Oyster Caribbean Regatta concluded on April 13. The event was hosted by the Camper & Nicholsons’ Port Louis Marina, situated in the beautiful Caribbean yacht charter location – Grenada.
Today, April 18, was marked by the first racing day at the 2013 Naples America’s Cup World Series, resulting in the early lead for Ben Ainslie and its J.P. Morgan BAR team.
Yesterday, April 17, was marked by a race to decide who will compete against the 79ft classic sailing yacht Mariella for The Inn Challenge Trophy, taking place in Antigua today, on April 18. Luxury yacht Vagabundo II has become today’s winner.
This afternoon will see the first racing in the Naples America’s Cup World Series 2013, representing the final event of the 2012-13 America’s Cup World Series.
The America’s Cup skippers are looking forward to getting back on the race track at the upcoming America’s Cup World Series in Naples, Italy. The first racing will kick off on Thursday, April 18, 2013.
To take place from May 16 to 24, the 2013 Rolex Capri Sailing Week Volcano Race is set to welcome a strong international fleet of maxi yachts, including such spectacular vessels as superyacht Nilaya, as well as charter yacht Kim (ex Y3K).
Dates for the 2013 International Sailing Summit (ISS) have been revealed. This year’s 12th edition of this popular event will take place in San Francisco, from August 18 to 21, 2013.
In order to respond to great success of the inaugural event, the second Oyster World Rally has been announced by the prestigious UK luxury yacht builder, Oyster Yachts. It will start in January 2016.
