Today, May 17, in San Francisco, saw the America’s Cup Review Committee begin its work and meet with the teams.
This year’s Rolex Capri Sailing Week Volcano Race will start tomorrow, on May 18. The race will last until May 24, hosting an international fleet of Maxi yachts, including such beautiful vessels as Y3K yacht.
Taken place in the enchanting yacht charter location – French Polynesia, the 2013 Tahiti Pearl Regatta hosted over 50 yachts, including 11 Oyster yachts such as the Oyster 82/04 superyacht Pandemonium.
The popular Mediterranean yacht race, Giraglia Rolex Cup, will return from June 14 to 22, 2013. This year’s weeklong event will not be attended by superyacht Esimit Europa 2, leaving an open field for the battle to such lovely vessels as the 72ft yacht Bella Mente.
The training and racing of AC72 yachts in the 2013 America’s Cup will be monitored by a panel of experts, named to the Review Committee. The announcement follows the tragic death of Artemis Racing crew member Andrew ‘Bart’ Simpson.
Set to run from August 28 to 30, the 5th Perini Navi Cup will be once again hosting the most spectacular sailboats, built by the Perini Navi Group. So far, 18 vessels have confirmed their presence, including the all-new 60m mega yacht Seahawk (hull C.2193).
The prestigious Italian builder, Maxi Dolphin has recently transported its new 30-metre FC100 superyacht Nomade IV to Marghera, near Venice to continue the vessel’s construction. Scheduled for delivery in mid-July 2013, Nomade IV will make her debut at the upcoming Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup.
