This year, the Sint Maarten Yacht Club will feature a Lounge sponsored by Budget Marine. This will be a place for sailors to gather and relax after a hard day on the water.
This year’s RORC Caribbean 600 saw Lloyd Thornburg’s MOD 70 sailing yacht Phaedo3 break the multihull race record, when crossing the finish line in an elapsed time of 1 day, 9 hours, 35 minutes and 30 seconds. George David’s Juan K designed sailing yacht Rambler 88 was the next boat to finish, at 06:35:12 AST on 25th February 2015, taking Monohull Line Honours.
Asher Otto & Itchy Feet will open up the Caribbean Jam Night of the upcoming 35th St. Maarten Heineken Regatta. The Saturday night party will take place on Kim Sha Beach in Simpson Bay, a lovely St. Maarten yacht vacation destination.
Day 2 of the RORC Caribbean 600 saw the vast majority of the 64-strong fleet negotiate the chicane of islands to the northern end of the course. At dawn, sailing yacht Adela and charter yacht Athos were side-by-side entering the Anguilla Channel.
A total number of 11 Dubois-designed vessels have registered for the upcoming 5th Dubois Cup so far. These include the 46m sailing yacht Ganesha, the 50m luxury yacht Ohana and the 53m superyacht Nirvana.
To run in the lovely Antigua yacht holiday location next week, the 2015 RORC Caribbean 600 will host plenty of yachts enjoying racing under IRC. These include sailing yacht Ragamuffin 100 as well as superyacht Comanche.
The 35th St.Maarten Heineken Regatta festivities will be closed out by celebrated artists Kool & the Gang this year. The popular Caribbean regatta will run in the lovely St. Maarten yacht holiday destination from March 5 to 8.
Next week will be marked by the start of the RORC Caribbean 600 yacht race. To be hosted by the lovely Antigua yacht holiday destination, the popular Caribbean regatta will be attended by such outstanding vessels as the 203′ charter yacht ATHOS – the largest vessel to compete this year.
To take place from March 3 to 7 in the fabulous Virgin Gorda yacht vacation location, this year’s Rolex Swan Cup Caribbean will be attended by more than 20 Swan yachts. The largest entrants are the 28m (91ft) Swan 90s sailing yacht Odin and charter yacht Solleone.
Set to run in the lovely England yacht vacation location – Solent from July 25 to 31, the Royal Yacht Squadron’s Bicentenary Regatta will host such iconic vessels as J Class superyacht Lionheart, as well as the 160′ charter yacht Eleonora.
