Bob Oatley’s 30-metre supermaxi yacht Wild Oats XI will be attending the next month’s Audi Hamilton Island Race Week, boasting a new, more streamlined bow. The popular Australian regatta will kick off on August 16, 2014.

Cowes Yacht Haven will be hosting the 2014 Panerai British Classic Week, running from July 12 to 19. The regatta will be attended by some 50 yachts, including the 1903 Charles Sibbick-designed superyacht Thalassa.
The island of Bermuda and San Diego in California have been shortlisted as potential venues for the 35th America’s Cup. The final host city will be announced before the end of this year.

Originally launched by the US builder Wilmington Shipyard to a design by L. Francis Herreshoff in 1990, the classic 23-metre sailing yacht Condesa del Mar will make her premiere at the 2014 Audi Hamilton Island Race Week. The race will run from August 16 to 23.
The inaugural Solar1 Monte Carlo Cup 2014 will host the world’s largest solar boat, PlanetSolar, as its Guest of Honour. The race will run in the beautiful Mediterranean yacht vacation location – Monaco from July 10 to 12.
This year’s Newport Bermuda Race has been marked by a great victory of Doyle sailing yacht Shockwave. Head of Design at Doyle Sails NZ sailed on board the yacht for the race, together with tactician Robbie Doyle.
