As we look forward to a week of high energy Solent racing in testing tidal conditions for the 15th edition of the Swan European Regatta Nautor’s Swan is delighted to publish the Notice of Race for the event. The Swan European Regatta will hit the UK shores of Cowes, Isle of Wight from July 9 – 15, 2011.
The 25th ARC finished in fine style on Saturday 18 December with a spectacular awards ceremony at the Gaiety Nightclub in Gros Islet, near Rodney Bay Marina, Saint Lucia. After a slow start, 217 yachts had finished by the prize giving, with the remainder due to arrive over the next few days.
Work on the AC45 catamarans, which the Cup teams will use to race in the 2011 America’s Cup World Series events, is continuing at pace in Warkworth, New Zealand. The first AC45 is scheduled to be launched in the New Year, with others rolling off the assembly quickly thereafter.

Visitors to the third Abu Dhabi Yacht Show (ADYS) next spring can look forward to a double-header super-luxury event at the 2011 edition of the region’s only yacht show exclusively dedicated to the superyacht industry. Next year’s show, from March 24th – 26th at the Yas Marina, will be co-located and jointly promoted with the season opener of the FIA GT1 World Championship 2011
The 2011 Caribbean Superyacht Regatta & Rendezvous will take place from March 16–20, 2011 in the beautiful setting of Virgin Gorda, in the British Virgin Islands, Caribbean. The Caribbean Superyacht Regatta & Rendezvous is open to motor and sailing yachts and superyachts of 80 feet in length and above.
