Supermaxi Sailing yacht ICAP Leopard prepares for Caribbean season of racing

Mike Slade’s record breaking Maxi, ICAP Leopard sailing yacht is undergoing final preparations for a breath-taking season of racing. ICAP Leopard sailed across the Atlantic last November to take part in the first ever, Atlantic Ocean Racing Series. The 100 ft Maxi has a scintillating four-month programme of racing, in some of the most spectacular locations throughout the Caribbean and America.

Oceanbridge Auckland Anniversary Day Regatta 2011

J.P. Morgan Asset Management Round the Island Race 2011: Open to entries

The Island Sailing Club (ISC), organisers of the famous J.P. Morgan Asset Management Round the Island Race, has announced that entries for this year’s 80th Anniversary Race will open on Friday January 21st. The Race is taking place on Saturday 25th June with the first start at 0600.

Velux 5 Oceans: Brad Van Liew wins 2nd leg in Wellington, New Zealand.

AMERICAN solo ocean racer Brad Van Liew today made it two wins from two ocean sprints as he sailed into Wellington, New Zealand, to claim victory in second sprint of the VELUX 5 OCEANS solo round the world yacht race. For the 42-year-old from Charleston, South Carolina, it brought to an end a gruelling month-long slog through the Southern Ocean from Cape Town in South Africa alone on his Eco 60 yacht Le Pingouin.
