Clipper 11-12 Round the World Yacht Race: Day 3 – Teams enjoy best racing conditions

On the third day of the Clipper 11-12 Round the World Yacht Race, the fleet enjoyed the California winds to their best advantage. The 68ft yachts gathered yesterday on an offshore track with the exception of New York, who had prefered to play the local breezes and currents close inshore, as well as Geraldton Western Australia, who were the furthest offshore to the west.

2012 PalmaVela yacht regatta to welcome 110 entrants

2012 PalmaVela yacht regatta, running from April 18 to 22, in Palma de Mallorca, is expected to welcome 110 entrants from more than 15 countries. The Swan entries, competing under IRC ratings, will race in the Maxi Racer, Mini Maxi as well as ORC classes.
