As of the 25th of May 2010, management of Drettmann GmbH has filed for bankruptcy. The luxury yacht builder and dealer, based at Bremen-Hemelingen, situated directly on the Weser River, Drettmann employs around 100 people.
Palladium Technologies, Inc. has been awarded contracts for the new 42m Trimaran Motor Yacht Hang Tuah. This unique superyacht Hang Tuah was designed by John Shuttleworth Yacht Design, Ltd. and is being built by McConaghy Boats in Zhu Hai, China. Plans are to launch yacht Hang Tuah in early 2011 with her cruising grounds expected to be in the beautiful waters of Indonesia.

Motor yacht Picchiotti-Vitruvius 50m, the first unit of three motor yachts sold to date by the Perini Navi Group, is ready for the launch scheduled for the first week of July 2010.
Sailing yacht Riela, designed by Perini Navi’s in-house naval architects together with New Zealander Ron Holland, is the 46th unit in the Perini Navi fleet and the 7th in the 56 metre series. She boasts an ultra-light streamlined aluminium hull with maximum displacement optimized at 545 tons in order to guarantee both excellent sailing performances and extreme comfort. Both main and mizzen masts are also in aluminium, while the furling boom is in carbon fibre. Total sail area is expected to reach 1,500 m².
Nauta Yacht Design was responsible for the general arrangement a and yacht design lines of luxury yacht Nilaya whilst her naval architecture is the work of Reichel Pugh Yacht Design – the two design houses already have a strong collaboration, having worked together historically on the design of high performance cruiser racers. The Ferretti Custom Line 124’ motor yacht was designed by architect Gianni Zuccon from Studio Zuccon International Project, who dealt with both the internal and external layouts, working in association with the AYT, Advanced Yacht Technology, Ferretti Group’s naval research and design centre.
