Sailing yacht Zefira’s interior design details and interior designer are not known at this stage, although it could well have been created by Adam Lay Studio Limited which worked on the yacht SALPERTON IV. The yacht has a lower saloon with a studio and there is also a main deck pilot house. Zefira is a able to accommodate the yacht owner in and owner’s cabin and at least a further 6 guests in 3 guest cabins. The crew also have 3 cabins along with a captain’s cabin.

Camper and Nicholsons Marinas has taken a significant step into new markets with the award of a new contract from Luhuitou Tourism Development Co Ltd to design and commission the Sanya Serenity Marina. The marina will incorporate 350 berths, including superyacht berths up to 50m and will form part of a resort being designed by world renowned architects Chapman Taylor. It is due for completion in June 2011.

The use and carriage of flares as distress signals at sea has changed as more robust and technologically advanced alternatives have developed. As a result the RYA has revised its advice to mariners regarding the carriage and use of flares in combination with more modern alerting methods such as EPIRB’s and VHF DSC.
The owner of the uncompleted Dixon 120 yacht contacted Moonen due to the yard’s growing reputation in the refit market as well as its fine track record of building new superyachts. “Due to the status of the project at the time it was abandoned, the completion of the yacht is a delicate balance between a new build and a refit,” explains Moonen’s director operations Mark Vermeulen.
