Sanctuary Cove Show will celebrate Women on Water at their 23rd show in Queensland, Australia. There will be numerous activities, including fashion parades, skipper training, female focused lunches with entertainment and giveaways. The 2011 Sanctuary Cove Show starts Thursday, the 19th of May and will run through to 22nd of May (Sunday) from 9am to 5pm daily.
Motor yacht Amels 199 has been sold and is currently under build, as announced by the Dutch shipyard Amels today. The yacht is due to be delivered in spring 2013.

Atollvic Shipyard is currently refitting the 49m superyacht Tumberry C, a superyacht originally built by Benetti in 1998. The shipyard, based in Vigo, Spain has been commissioned to complete a variety of refit jobs which includes painting of the steel hull and part of the aluminium superstructure, and replacing the main teak deck as well as completing work on the interior furniture. The work is expected to take three months to complete.

The Sunset Heaven yacht measures a staggering 96 meters (96.77m/317.50’) and features traditional lines as well as fresh elements making her a beautiful modern classic. Guido de Groot Design and Intec Marine have unveiled two new revolutionary 27 metre and 34 metre motoryacht concepts that will use the next generation of hybrid propulsion ensuring higher energy efficiency. The new motor yacht designs will also offer lower noise levels and lower carbon and nitrogen oxide emissions. These 27m and 34m motor yacht concepts will feature the Intec Marine hybrid propulsion concept, which utilises the innovative electric propulsion setup by Voith (ILJ850), a system powered by two generators.
