Future Fibres´ is pleased to announce the creation of Future Fibres Italy, a dedicated sales and support office to cater for one of the largest yachting markets in Europe. While Future Fibres already has a strong presence in Italy with long term customers such as Wally Yachts, Future Fibres Italy will focus on bringing the same level of support to all Italian based yards, designers and yacht owners.
Motor yacht YOGI, built by Proteksan Turquoise was proudly wearing the Turkish flag on her bow, when she was launched into the water at the Pendik shipyard in Istanbul. This newest launch of yacht YOGI (hull no. NB49) measures 60.20 m (197.5 ft) and is the second superyacht launched by Proteksan Turquoise in 2011, after the earlier launch of the motor yacht Turquoise.
JFA Shipyard launched a 43m motor yacht designed by Vripack on Saturday 19th March 2011. Built under hull number 22C, the all-aluminium expedition superyacht measures 43m (141ft) and will undergo sea trials before being delivered to her owner by June 2011.

The 50m (164ft) motor yacht LIBERTY was launched by ISA (International Shipyards Ancona) on Saturday, March 19, 2011. Yacht Liberty is the first yacht in a custom-made series of three new 50m superyachts currently under construction at the Italian ISA yard. Liberty is scheduled to be delivered in June 2011.

Palumbo Shipyard, an Italian company headquartered in Naples, signed a 30 year deal with the Malta government for the acquisition of Malta Super Yacht Services (MSYS) now called Palumbo Malta Shipyard. Palumbo Group has taken over the yard this week, after having been declared the preferred bidder for the tender to acquire Malta Superyacht Services in late 2010.
