MDL’s Freedom Berthing Network now boasts over 90 luxury yacht marinas. MDL has added a further 20 marinas to the network during 2014.

This month’s 12th Phuket International Boat Show (PIMEX) has been a huge success. The five-star Royal Phuket Marina, a lovely Phuket yacht charter destination, hosted 17 yachts over 20 metres in length. The 2016 event will run from January 7 to 10.
Fred van Beers has been appointed as new Chief Executive Officer Management Board (CEO) of the leading German superyacht shipyard, Blohm+Voss. He will start leading the company’s growth strategy as of 1 March 2015.
KRM Yacht in Turkey is currently working on the refit of the 31m luxury yacht April, expected to last 6 months. The vessel was originally built by Bilgin Yachts in 2006.
Cheoy Lee has proudly announced the recent sale of three vessels: Alpha 76 Express yacht, Alpha 76 Flybridge yacht, as well as Global 104 superyacht. The new 104 is already in build, and is the result of a collaboration between naval architect Overing Yacht Designs, Cheoy Lee, and interior designer Sylvia Bolton Design.
The all-new 101m mega yacht I DYNASTY (V853) is currently going through sea trials. Built by Kusch Yachts to a design by The A group, this striking vessel has been developed by Vega Yachts.
