Due to strong winds caused by Mistral, the morning’s competing on Day 3 of the 2012 Rolex Swan Cup was postponed untill 14:00 CEST. Day 3 victory went to charter yacht Highland Breeze (NED) in Maxi; sailing yacht Merel Four (NED) in Grand Prix; luxury yacht Shirlaf (ITA) in Classic while Earlybird (GER) took the first place in the Rolex Swan 45 World Championship.
Hall Spars fitted yachts have reported a great success on the race course this season. Two magnificent vessels boasting Hall Spars mast will be showcased at the next Monaco Yacht Show, comprising Wally 164 luxury yacht Better Place and Baltic 72 yacht Stig.
Pendennis Palma is celebrating its first anniversary. This successful refit facility based at STP in Palma de Mallorca has already completed over 10 refits. These include charter yachts Nostromo and Andromeda La Dea, as well as superyacht Gloria by Jongert. From October 2012, the company will also start working on the 1928 classic motor yacht Fair Lady.
Day 2 of this year’s Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup was marked by a 20-knot breeze, allowing to start the racing as planned. Victory went to Swan 80 yacht Berenice Bis in Maxi Class, Magical Mystery Tour yacht in Grand Prix class and Ondine yacht in Classic. Talj yacht has become the best performer in the Rolex Swan 45 World Championship.
This year’s 23rd edition of the popular Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup was attended by several Hall Spars equipped vessels, taking victory in three of the five Divisions. These include Bella Mente yacht, superyacht Nilaya or luxury yacht Aegir.
The total number of 24 luxury vessels by Ferretti Group are currently on display at this year’s Cannes Boat Show. Almost 60 luxurious sailing yachts built by the prominent Finnish builder Nautor’s Swan, will take part in this year’s 17th edition of Rolex Swan Cup, held in Porto Cervo, Sardinia. The largest of these is the 35-metre Swan 112 charter yacht Highland Breeze.

Completion of a long term consultancy agreement between Jedrik Odenwald and Tamsen Maritim has been announced. Jedrik Odenwald has worked on such beautiful vessel as the 41m charter yacht taTii.
Scheduled for launch later this year, the splendid superyacht Hana (G50) will participate in the 2013 NZ Millennium Cup in Auckland, where she will make her debut. Constructed by Fitzroy and designed by Dubois, this beautiful 50-metre flybridge sloop will be the largest vessel to enter the regatta so far this year.
