The Island Sailing Club (ISC) in Cowes, organisers of the J.P. Morgan Asset Management Round the Island Race, have proudly announced that Sir Ben Ainslie will return to participate in this year’s race aboard the 100-foot charter yacht Leopard.
Taken place from May 21 to 25, the inaugural Menorca Maxi Regatta 2014 was marked by an outstanding win of the J-Class superyacht Lionheart. This majestic vessel was built by Claasen Shipyards to a design by Andre Hoek in 2010.

The Amels 199 charter yacht EVENT has received the World Superyacht Award 2014 in the ‘Displacement Motor Yacht 500GT to 1,299GT’ category. The yard is currently working on the second Amels 199 superyacht Amels 5502, scheduled for delivery in Spring 2015.

The overall winners of this year’s very first Menorca Maxi have become superyacht Magic Blue in the Wally Class and sailing yacht Lionheart in the J Class.
It has been a very successful tiger shark tagging expedition for the International SeaKeepers Society aboard the 138ft Richmond charter yacht PENNY MAE. It took place earlier this month at Tiger Beach, situated in the Caribbean yacht holiday destination – the Bahamas.
