PY-100 Liara at the Monaco Yacht Show 2010.

Performance Yachts will again be represented at the Monaco Yacht Show in September this year with the PY-100 Liara on display.

Azzura Marine will be representing the PY range on the Australian stand and will be happy to discuss the full range of yachts with potential clients.

Tall Ships at Sail Tampa Bay 2010

Sailing ships from around the world will dock July 10-14 in downtown Tampa, Fla., for Sail Tampa Bay 2010.

Ships that will be on hand include the Coast Guard bark Eagle, the Capitan Miranda from Uruguay, and the Gloria from Colombia.

2010 International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition & Conference (IBEX) entries being accepted

The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) announced today entries are being accepted for the 2010 International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition & Conference (IBEX) Innovation Awards, one of the marine industry’s most prestigious honors. The Awards presentation takes place during the show’s annual Industry Awards Breakfast on Tuesday, September 28 from 7:30-9:30 a.m.
IBEX Innovation Awards are judged by Boating Writers International (BWI) in recognition of exceptionally innovative new marine equipment and processes in the OEM and aftermarket sector, and will be on display throughout IBEX September 28-30 in Louisville, KY at the Kentucky Exposition Center.

Riviera set to excite at the Sydney International Boat Show 2010

Riviera, Australia’s most awarded pleasure boat builder will showcase for the first time in Sydney, the much anticipated new 43 Open Flybridge and will announce the company’s next exciting new model at the Sydney International Boat Show 2010 starting on July 29. Hard on the heels of the successful launch of the 43, Riviera is about its next model release which will be announced at the Sydney International Boat Show.

Getting ready for the launch of the H2X shipyard’s first Blue Coast Yacht maxi-catamaran Blue Coast 95’

The H2X shipyard has been working on the construction of the first Blue Coast Yacht maxi-catamaran, the Blue Coast 95’. From the naval architectural firm of Coste Design & Partners, this exceptional vessel is scheduled for delivery by the end of Summer 2010.

Voiles de Saint Barth: 4th to the 9th of April 2011.

The second edition of the Voiles de Saint Barth will take place between 4th and 9th April 2011. François Tolède and Luc Poupon, representing St. Barts Yacht Club, which organises the event, have just confirmed the dates after talks with competitors and the event’s partners. Following on from a magnificent first edition last April, this major date on the Caribbean racing calendar is now well established, and the aim is to make it even bigger.

FIFA World Cup South Africa 2010 starts today.

The most awaited soccer event, the Fifa World Cup 2010 will kick start in a grand opening ceremony held at the newly-renovated Orlando Stadium in Soweto/Johannesburg, South Africa. For those still looking for accommodation or extra entertainment during the event, there are still luxury yachts available for charter.

Korea International Boat Show opened on June 10, 2010

The largest-scale marine conference in Korea will be held on June 10 at Jeongok port, Hwaseong city, Gyeonggi Province. A total of 200 participants including 100 foreign experts on marine leisure industry and people involved in the marine leisure industry will talk about the current status of the Korea’s marine leisure industry and directions for development under the theme of ‘Exploring Strategies for Asia’s Marine Industry Development’. The moderator of this conference is Tim Coventry from Britain, who is director of the International Sailing Federation and advisor to the Korea International Boat Show.
