The first ‘Ferretti Yachts and Custom Line Privilege Days’ event took place in Sanya, China, from November 24 to 26. It was marked by the launching ceremony of the largest Ferretti vessel in China Sea, the Custom Line 112’ Next motor yacht “Niu Ling”, as well as the establishment of Ferretti Group Asia Pacific Ltd.
Organised by AIMEX as well as Superyacht Australia, the 2013 edition of the Australian Superyacht & Marine Export Conference (ASMEX) will kick off in just 7 months. The next year’s event will take place at the prominent InterContinental (formerly Hyatt Regency) Hotel, Sanctuary Cove.

The latest launches, products as well as marine brands, along with a wide range of activities will be on display at the 2013 Tullett Prebon London Boat Show. The event will run from January 12 to 20.
The next year’s boot Dusseldorf will be marked by a debut of the two Monte Fino luxury vessels: Monte Fino 76 yacht and ecHo 85 superyacht. Both of them boast exterior design by Rob Humphreys, while their interior design is by Giorgia Drudi.
For the third executive running, the annual Australian Superyacht and Marine Export Conference (ASMEX) will return to Sanctuary Cove. To be held prior to the 25th anniversary edition of Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS), the two-day marine industry conference will run from May 21 to 22.
The spectacular 46m Cheoy Lee superyacht Mazu was showcased at the 2012 Fort Lauderdale Boat Show. Ron Holland,who designed the lines for the Marco Polo Series, had a unique opportunity to visit her, along with Rob Doyle – Principal Designer/Manager of Ron Holland’s Kinsale studio in Ireland.
The splendid 38-metre superyacht Shooting Star by Danish Yachts hosted the International Seakeepers Society’s ‘Women in Yachting and Ocean Advocacy’ event during this year’s Monaco Yacht Show.
The International Marine Products (IMP) has been honoured with the Oceanair’s Distributor of the Year Award 2012. The company has worked on two superyacht projects this year, including charter yacht Light Blue as well as sailing yacht Adele 2.
