Moonen Shipyards have assigned a new Superyacht project Moonen 133 to Rene Van Der Velden Yacht. The long range cruiser Moonen 133 is the largest super yacht Moonen Shipyards has ever endeavoured to create for a private client. The luxury motor yacht will feature a wide range of amenities and toys, which are likely to be more than most of its counterparts and even the larger yachts.
Superyacht Diano Crowbridge, a 30 meter motor yacht, is the largest yacht ever to be launched by Riva Trigoso, Genoa builders, a company of Gruppo InRizzardi. Yacht Diano Crowbridge is custom built from hardwood on an individualized basis as is Diano’s tradition.
Sailing yacht Twizzle, the majestic Dubois designed Royal Huisman built flybridge superyacht ketch is soon to be launched in Holland. An experienced yacht owner couple, the former owners of motor yacht Twizzle, have brought an exciting yachting team together to build the 57 meter ketch rigged center board superyacht called sailing yacht Twizzle. This team includes Dubois Yacht Designers, Royal Huisman Yacht Builders and Redman Whiteley Dixon Design group as well as the owners themselves.
The 47m superyacht, Yard Number 15147, belongs to the Heesen’s 47-metre long range displacement vessel family, which now has seven sister-ships. Two of these have been recognised at successive World Superyacht Awards in 2009 and 2010 as the Best Displacement Motor Yachts below 500GT. The level of customization possible on this series (including structural changes to the superstructure) allows owners to create their own unique yacht based on a proven hull design. The new yacht will be built to Lloyds class and be MCA compliant.
Ron Holland’s career began after he designed the ¼ tonner Eygthene, which won its first race the 1973 ¼ ton Cup. This success led to a commission to design a One-ton class yacht for Irish businessman Hugh Coveney, enabling Ron set up as an independent designer in Kinsale, Co. Cork, where he has been based ever since.

On Tuesday the 15th of June, Alloy Yachts christened the 44.2m sailing yacht Imagine.
This is the second Dubois designed Imagine Alloy Yachts has created, having built the first Imagine back in 1993. The team of Dubois Naval Architects and Alloy Yachts, working with the owner has created a high performance, superyacht with the technical sailing attributes of a much smaller racing machine.
With the semi planning hull and a careful sound insulation system, Arcadia Yachts can sail also at night with maximum comfort and safety, allowing the owner and his guests to enjoy the whole day bathing peacefully anchored in their favourite harbours.

The first design to be released by Ruea is the Ruea 60-metre, featuring naval architecture by BMT Nigel Gee, which has worked on such projects as A and Dubai. Meanwhile, the design is the work of UK firm Design Unlimited. The twin screw diesel yacht will have 1,240 gross tonnage, and a beam of 10.5 metres. Her steel hull and alumimum superstructure will be Lloyd’s certified and the yacht will be built to MCA Large Yacht 2 code.
Luxury yacht Palladuim’s almost sensual superstructure is very easy on the eye, but also it looks immediately different in setting itself apart from the other superyachts built to date. True, the styling reflects the mighty orca whale – and what a form in nature to mirror – but there are further structural as well as design differences because it is created from an advanced building system comprising a blend of steel, alloy and composites, as completed with innovative strengthened dark glazing.
Royal Van Lent will also see widening the locks in the nearby city of Gouda from 12 to 14 meters. The bridges in the towns of Oude and Nieuwe Wetering will also be extended to the same width, with an expected completion date of 2012.
