Today´s Guadeloupe to Antigua Race has been won by Verlarde’s NM92 sailing yacht Locura, followed by Stephen Schmidt’s Santa Cruz 70 yacht Hotel California Too, taking second place and the Dufour 45 yacht Triskell placing 3rd. Ross Applebey’s Oyster 48 yacht Scarlet Oyster has won the Racing Division of the ARC.

The prominent UK-based shipyard Pendennis removed the Ron Holland designed sailing yacht M5 (ex Mirabella 5)´s main mast in advance of her 13 month refit. She boasts the world´s largest mast, measuring 89 metres, destepping of which was coordinated by Marine Results, with the lift needing 4 cranes, 40 staff as well as more than 8 hours to finish the operation.
