Benetti Shipyard has successfully handed over the luxury motor yacht Ocean Drive (hull BD003), the second Delfino 93 luxury vessel delivered this year, following the 28,5m superyacht Azul, delivered in April 2012. Ocean Drive can accommodate up to 10 guests in comfort.
The well known NZ builder Fitzroy Yachts will be present at the next Monaco Yacht Show, running from September 19 to 22. The company is currently building the 2014 FY17 superyacht as well as the 2012 sailing yacht G50.
The well known Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo will participate at this year’s top Show Boats in Cannes, Monaco and Genoa, exhibiting a wide range of their latest luxury vessels, such as the 40Alloy superyacht 111 or the SL108 motor yacht Regine, launched this year.
Sustainability is the base of each construction process at the Dutch shipyard Intec Marine. The Intec Marine 90 Hybrid yacht and Intec Marine 140 Hybrid superyacht are fitted with generators that require less maintenance and are much smaller than the usual engines.
The overall winner of the 2012 Newport Bucket Regatta has become the 102ft sailing yacht Indio, designed by German Frers and built by Wally. She has also won in her Gazelles class, while Sejaa yacht took first place in the Mademoiselle class. The next year’s regatta will run from August 23 to 25.
As from January 1, 2013, James Anderson will take over its new role as the Hodgdon Yachts’ head of the Design and Engineering department. Currently working as Engineering Manager of SP Gurit / High Modulus, he will attend the 2012 Monaco Yacht Show.
The prominent Turkish shipyard Sunrise Yachts will be present at the upcoming Cannes Boat Show. At the moment, the yard is building two 63-metre luxury vessels: Project 601 megayacht and superyacht Hull 632, both designed by Espen Oeino and due to be delivered in 2014.
The respected Italian builder Azimut Yachts will present its 24m luxury yacht Magellano 76 at the 2012 Genoa International Boat Show. Inspired by the Magellano 74 yacht, this lovely vessel provides up to 8 guests with 4 beautiful and elegant cabins.
Taking place from September 27 to 30, the Riviera’s flagship, 75 Enclosed Flybridge yacht will make her New Zealand debut at the upcoming Auckland On Water Boat Show, along with the 63 Enclosed Flybridge yacht.
Measuring impressive 78,5 meters in LOA, the spectacular Hampshire II superyacht by Feadship will be exhibited at the upcoming Monaco Yacht Show. She provides beautiful and comfortable accommodation to up to 14 guests.
Ferretti yachts’ Thailand agent, Lee Marine, successfully sold the second Ferretti 881 RPH superyacht at the 2011 PIMEX International Boat Show. Recently delivered to her new Owner, this beautiful vessel can accommodate up to 6 guests in 3 lovely cabins. Launched in June, the new Ferretti 870 Flybridge yacht was also reported to make her World Premiere at the upcoming Cannes Boat Show.
