The sale of the all-new luxury motor yacht Darwin Class 102’ as well as the new superyacht Nauta Air 108’ has been proudly announced by the Ancona-based shipyard, Cantiere delle Marche.
New Zealand-based refit shipyard, Oceania Marine, is currently working on the refit of the 2011 super yacht Black Pearl. She will receive a hull repaint in her beautiful metallic grey and minor coating repairs on the superstructure, as well as general maintenance works.
The well known Taiwan-based shipyard, Horizon Yachts, has recently welcomed two new Directors to Horizon Motor Yachts Australia: Matt Yapp and Gary Wahlstedt. They are both current Horizon yacht owners; Matt owns the Horizon E88 superyacht White Caviar and Gary owns the Horizon E73 motor yacht Swell Time.

The new boatbuilding apprenticeship is being developed by employers within the government’s trailblazer scheme. Co-ordinated by the British Marine Federation (BMF), the employer led group to encourage apprentices in the marine industry is led by Berthon Boat Company, with the participation of BMF member companies, including Sunseeker, Princess Yachts, Fairline Boats, Pendennis, to name but a few.
This year’s Marine Equipment Trade Show (METS) exceeded all the expectations and set the tone for the marine equipment sector. The event welcomed 1,358 exhibitors from 48 countries, along with 21,086 visitors.
