This month’s 12th Phuket International Boat Show (PIMEX) has been a huge success. The five-star Royal Phuket Marina, a lovely Phuket yacht charter destination, hosted 17 yachts over 20 metres in length. The 2016 event will run from January 7 to 10.

James Cameron’s “Deepsea Challenger 3D” has recently opened in cinemas. Deepsea Challenger reached the bottom of the ocean in 2012, making Cameron the third man in history to visit the ocean’s deepest trench. Cameron’s lead sub designer, Ron Allum, and Triton are currently building the next generation of manned submersible.
The new ‘Super Yacht Sub 3’ has been proudly launched by U-Boat Worx from the Netherlands. This highly innovative submersible is capable of diving to a depth of 100 or 300 meters, with 3 people aboard.
The all-new personal watercraft for mega yachts ‘V8 Wet Rod’ has been proudly presented by Strand Craft. Created by Kurt Strand, the first V8 Wet Rod will be launched later this year.
