Genoa 50th International Boat Show ended optimistically

With a final number of 260,300 visitors, Genoa International Boat Show was down in attendance by 7.2% compared to the 280,500 presences of 2009 however this is considered extremely positive by the organisers, in light of the economic situation and the storms that hindered access to the show.

Azimut-Benetti sales grow by 25%

Azimut-Benetti has reported an increase in end-user sales of 25 per cent for the 2009-2010 nautical year. EBITDA also increased from €35million to €45million and their net debt reduced from €70m to €40m, which is the equivalent of just over 10% of the Azimut-Benetti group’s equity. The overall turnover decreased from €600m to €500m.
