Jorge Jabor Pinheiro has designed a 92m superyacht concept called Sahodara with a rotating owner’s deck. The concept incorporates the existing design format seen in land architecture such as a rotating restaurant like the Space Needle in Seattle, Washington, built for the 1962 World’s Fair.
The luxurious U-010 Underwater Yacht concept is an extraordinary vessel able to operate like a Superyacht and a submarine to explore the width and the depths of the ocean in style. True, the styling reflects the mighty orca whale – and what a form in nature to mirror – but there are further structural as well as design differences because it is created from an advanced building system comprising a blend of steel, alloy and composites, as completed with innovative strengthened dark glazing.
The huge steel displacement superyacht ECLIPSE measures around 170 metres, making her the world’s largest (or longest) private mega yacht in the world. M/Y ECLIPSE was designed by Hermidas Atabeyki with interior designs by the very well know yacht designer Terrence Disdale. She was built by the Thyssenkrupp Blohm + Voss shipyard in Hamburg, is a large industrial giant in Germany. The mega yacht has a gross tonnage of around 13,000 tonnes and superyacht Eclipse is slightly larger (around 36 ft longer) than the world’s previous longest private luxury yacht Dubai at 162 m, as owned by Sheikh Mohammed of Dubai.
Motor yacht NATITA had her hull built by Kusch Yachts from Germany and then the luxury yacht was finished by Dutch yacht builder Oceanco who outfitted NATITA with an aluminium superstructure and finished the yacht interior. More recently in 2006-2007 she underwent refit work at the Lurssen shipyard.
Motor yacht Baiterek had her exterior design work created by a Ukrainian design firm called Proline, who also created the video below. She is a high volume superyacht with over 1160 m2 of living areas and she has a displacement of 420 tons.
