The splendid 40-metre Lurssen superyacht Be Mine (ex Leonora) has recently undergone an extensive refit at the Royal Huisman’s refit facility, Huisfit. This also comprised the painting of underwater body, steel hull as well as superstructure.
Established in 2011, the Royal Huisman’s refit centre, Huisfit, has already worked on over 300m of refit projects, including such beautiful vessels as the 70m Lurssen motor yacht Skat. The company will be attending the Marine Equipment Trade Show (METS) that will start next week.

Performed by Palma Refit, a magnificent 46m Palmer Johnson superyacht now boasts four Seakeeper M21000a gyros. She represents the Seakeeper’s largest gyro refit to date.
The Dutch company, Mulder Shipyard, is currently working on its new facility in Zoeterwoude Rijndijk, which is expected to open in the upcoming few weeks. It will boast two dry docks, perfect for work on larger yachts, and the company will present it at the next METS.
The design team of Redman Whitely Dixon has recently welcome Benjamin Julian Toth as its new member. Ben has been honoured with the Young Designer of the Year Award at the prestigious Showboats Design Awards 2012 for his 50m ReSeadence 50 superyacht concept.
