The works on three superyacht refit projects, including the 34-metre luxury charter yacht ‘Che’, are in full swing at Oceania Marine Shipyard in the Port Whangarei, New Zealand. The vessels are due to be completed for the upcoming South Pacific charter season.
Measuring almost 72 meters in LOA, the luxury charter yacht Utopia has been welcomed home by Feadship in order to undergo a range of maintenance activities and technical upgrades. She was originally launched by this respected Dutch luxury yacht builder in 2004.
The beautiful 1924 William Fife classic yacht Adventuress has been selected as a winner of the Classic Boat 2013 Award in the ‘Restoration of the Year’ category. The US shipyard Rockport Marine completed the vessel’s 3-year restoration in 2012.

Lovely 1983 motor sailor My Lotty, previously known as Serena yacht, is currently undergoing extensive refit at BR1 Ltd and getting ready for her first charter season in the beautiful Mediterranean country of Italy and Greece.
A total number of 6 luxury yachts shortlisted for this year’s World Superyacht Awards have been equipped with thrusters, developed by Ocean Yacht Systems. These include the all-new Fitzroy superyacht Ohana, or the recently refitted Feadship motor yacht A2.
The prestigious UK shipyard, Pendennis, is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. The first luxury vessel built by Pendennis is the 125-foot sailing yacht La Cattiva (ex Taramber). Throughout its history the company has delivered more than 30 Custom New Builds.
Three luxury vessels with design by Redman Whiteley Dixon have been announced as finalists for the World Superyacht Awards 2013: the newly refitted 74 m Amels superyacht Ilona, the 30 m Yachting Developments catamaran yacht Q5 Quintessential, as well as the 78 m Feadship mega yacht Hampshire II.
