Moonen Shipyards has begun working on the two new refit projects: the Moonen 84 luxury yacht Impetuous (ex Phoenix) as well as the 30m Heesen motor yacht Amigo.
Last month saw Derecktor – Florida successfully lift their one hundredth vessel of the year – the 180′ Feadship super yacht Calixe – with their impressive 900-ton Cimolai® mobile boat hoist.
The outstanding 168’ Oceanco charter yacht LADY Z has recently started a major cosmetic and mechanical refit at Derecktor – Florida. This will include the replacement of the existing engines with MTU 16V2000′s.
STP’s employees and staff have taken theoretical and practical courses in handling trucks and pumps, and subsequently participated in a fire drill, organized by the STP Shipyard Palma every year. More than 60 people were involved in this activity: employees and STP’s security personnel, two fire trucks from Bomberos de Palma and Port’s Police personnel.
Atlantic Refit Center is now the only shipyard on the west coast of France able to welcome superyachts up to 140m in length, thanks to the recently signed six year contract with the Port Authorities. Also, in order to strengthen its commercial team, Atlantic Refit Center have recently welcomed Patricia Pontis as Head of Commercial Sales.
Originally built by Perini Navi in 2007, 45m super yacht HELIOS has recently left the Perini Navi Service and Refit facility, following a major refit. The mast was repainted and all rod rigging was changed.
The refit of the Mulder 70 Futura yacht Tita One (ex Ingeborg) has been recently completed by Mulder Shipyard at their Zoeterwoude yard in the Netherlands. Originally launched in 1994, the vessel has undergone large maintenance and refit works.

KRM Yacht in Turkey is currently working on the refit of the 31m luxury yacht April, expected to last 6 months. The vessel was originally built by Bilgin Yachts in 2006.
Luxury motor yacht Le Lutteur is a tugboat-type vessel, beautifully refitted by Cobra Yacht to a design by Scaro Design. This lovely 30m vessel provides comfortable accommodation in 3 cabins.
Wild Group International has proudly announced the launch of the superior vinyl films ‘Färben’ into the yachting market. Färben have supplied Wild Group with a colour matched battleship grey for mega yacht Aviva, that is currently undergoing a full hull wrap to her 68m hull in Rybovich, Miami.
