For the third consecutive year, the prestigious design studio, Hoek Design, has renewed its sponsorship of the Superyacht Cup Palma.
Day 2 of the 33rd Annual St. Maarten Heineken Regatta got underway in light winds of 10 to 15 knots for the race from Phillipsburg to the French town of Marigot.
The Commodores will take in Racing Action at the Gill Commodore’s Cup. The event is part of the upcoming St. Maarten Heineken Regatta, that will be attended by around 200 yachts, including Swan 100 superyacht Varsovie.
Organisers of the 2013 NZ Millennium Cup played host to a stellar evening of cocktails, dancing and the all-important prize giving on the final day of the regatta. The overall victory went to superyacht Zefiro, followed by Silvertip yacht and luxury yacht Ohana, respectively.

Monohull Line Honours for the 2013 RORC Caribbean 600 yacht race went to the Farr 100 charter yacht ICAP Leopard.
Measuring 63 feet in LOA, the luxury trimaran yacht Paradox completed the RORC Caribbean 600 yacht race in less than two days. She will be followed by charter yacht ICAP Leopard that will claim Monohull Line Honours.
All of the luxury superyachts participating in the recently concluded NZ Millennium Cup were powered by Southern Spars’ rigs. This year’s overall winner has become the 30-metre sailing yacht Zefiro.

Tomorrow morning, Wednesday, February 20, is expected to see the first finishers of the 2013 RORC Caribbean 600 yacht race. One or two records will be presumably broken.

Peter Aschenbrenner’s American trimaran yacht Paradox and Mike Slade’s British Maxi charter yacht ICAP Leopard covered the first 100 miles of the RORC Caribbean 600’s course in an astonishing seven and a half hours at 1700 local time.
