The recently concluded Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta was marked by a very close competing between the first Oyster 100 superyacht Sarafin, placing third overall, and the second Oyster 885 yacht Karibu, taking the fourth place.
Tomorrow, Tuesday 11, 2013, will see Francis Joyon at the starting line aboard his maxi trimaran yacht IDEC to tackle the North Atlantic Record from New York to the Lizard, at the southernmost tip of Cornwall.
The overall winner of this year’s Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta has become the luxury charter yacht Salperton IV. She was followed by the 50m Fitzroy superyacht Zefira and the Southern Wind 100 yacht Cape Arrow, respectively.

The last day of this year’s Dubois Cup was marked by the perfect superyacht racing weather. The Cup went to the 37m Alloy sailing yacht Genevieve.
So far, twenty classic sailing yachts, designed by William Fife, have registered for the upcoming Fife Regatta. The event will kick off on June 28, 2013.
