A spectacular fleet of Danish Yachts has attended the recently concluded Superyacht Cup Palma. These included the J Class charter yacht Ranger, motor yacht Shooting Star, the carbon fibre-built yacht Aerocruiser 38m, as well as the recently launched carbon fibre-built sailing yacht Infiniti 36.
The largest Scandinavian regatta, ÅF Offshore Race, was won by the 30-metre superyacht Esimit Europa 2, following her great success at the Kiel Week in Germany.
It was an amazing premiere for the Humphreys-designed Oyster 885 superyacht Karibu at the 2013 Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta, taking second place.
The third leg of the Panerai Classic Yachts Challenge 2013, Le Vele d’Epoca a Napoli, has ended with the overall victory of Sirius yacht and sailing yacht Bufeo Blanco. The majestic 1911 31m superyacht Mariquita has received the prize for the longest yacht entered.
Yesterday, June 30, saw the official start of the largest Scandinavian regatta – the AF Offshore Race. The race is being attended by the 100-foot superyacht Esimit Europe 2.
Preparations for the upcoming Newport Bucket Regatta are well underway. Set to kick off on August 24, the race will be attended by such majestic vessels as the 170-foot charter yacht Meteor by Royal Huisman.
Saturday, June 29, saw the official start of the 2013 Fife Regatta. The Class 1 winner has become Saskia yacht, Class 2 winner The Truant and Mignon yacht won Class 3.
Set to kick off on August 11, the 2013 Rolex Fastnet Race will be once again attending by the fleet of spectacular yachts. Some of these, such superyacht Esimit Europa 2, will be hosted by the Gosport-based specialist boatyard, Endeavour Quay.
It was a very successful edition of the Superyacht Cup Palma for four Claasen superyachts, including the majestic J Class yacht Lionheart, the Truly Classic 78 yacht Heartbeat, charter yacht Atalante, as well as superyacht Firefly.
This year’s Superyacht Cup Palma saw another huge success of the Royal Huisman yachts – the lovely J Class yacht Hanuman, as well as luxury charter yacht Maria Cattiva.
