Measuring impressive 100 feet in LOA, superyacht Wild Oats XI has reached her seventh line honours victory in the 2013 Rolex Sydney Hobart Race. The vessel boasts the revolutionary Dynamic Stability System (DSS) foil, developed by Infiniti Yachts.
This year’s Rolex Sydney Hobart Race has been marked by the seventh line honours win of the impressive 100-foot superyacht Wild Oats XI.
As tradition dictates, the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race is expected to kick off from Sydney Harbour on December 26, 2013. The 69th edition of this popular event will host an amazing fleet of 94 yachts, including the 2012 Line Honours and Overall Winner – the 100ft superyacht Wild Oats XI.

A preview of the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race, the 20th edition of SOLAS Big Boat Challenge is set to start in Sydney Harbour today, on December 10, 2013.
McConaghy Boats, including the 30-metre superyacht Wild Oats XI as well as the 30-metre luxury yacht Wild Thing, are currently preparing for the upcoming Rolex Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race, which will kick off later this month.

Entries for the next year’s J.P. Morgan Asset Management Round the Island Race will open on Friday, January 3. The 2014 edition of this popular event, marked by the 2013 multihull record set by Sir Ben Ainslie aboard his AC45 J.P. Morgan BAR yacht, is expected to kick off on June 21.

This year’s Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race, an iconic sporting event, is set to start next month, hosting 97 yachts, including 22 international entrants. The event will be once again attended by the 100-foot Maxi yacht Wild Oats XI.
It has been another successful edition of the Rolex Middle Sea Race this year, attended by 99 yachts from 19 countries. Royal Malta Yacht Club believes that the race will break the symbolic hundred entrant level next year.
The highly anticipated 34th edition of the Rolex Middle Sea Race 2013 will start tomorrow, on Saturday, October 19. The event is expected to be attended by a record number of 100 yachts.
