To run in the lovely Antigua yacht holiday location next week, the 2015 RORC Caribbean 600 will host plenty of yachts enjoying racing under IRC. These include sailing yacht Ragamuffin 100 as well as superyacht Comanche.
Next week will be marked by the start of the RORC Caribbean 600 yacht race. To be hosted by the lovely Antigua yacht holiday destination, the popular Caribbean regatta will be attended by such outstanding vessels as the 203′ charter yacht ATHOS – the largest vessel to compete this year.
Set to run in the lovely England yacht vacation location – Solent from July 25 to 31, the Royal Yacht Squadron’s Bicentenary Regatta will host such iconic vessels as J Class superyacht Lionheart, as well as the 160′ charter yacht Eleonora.
Showcasing the tradition of the event, the majestic titans of the 1930s will return to the America’s Cup after 80 years. J Class yachts will compete in the J Class regatta, scheduled for June 2017.
The recently concluded Les Voiles de St. Barth 2015 was marked by a dramatic finale, delivering one of the closest finishes in the history of superyacht racing. The overall winner has become the 102′ superyacht Marama.
Friday, February 6, 2015 was marked by the official meeting of Igor Simčič, founder of the Esimit Europa project, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, H.E. Mr. Ban Ki-moon at the UN headquarters in New York.
Registration for this year’s Loro Piana Caribbean Superyacht Regatta & Rendezvous will close on January 30, 2015. Set to run in the beautiful Virgin Gorda yacht vacation location from March 11 to 14, the popular Caribbean regatta will host such outstanding vessels as the 60m Perini Navi charter yacht Seahawk.
Today, January 23, in the lovely New Zealand yacht charter location – the Bay of Islands was marked by the final day of racing. Line honours for the day went to the Royal Huisman super yacht Sassafras, but the overall Cup went to the 50m sailing yacht Silencio, following her victories on day one and two.
The second day of racing at the currently running New Zealand Millennium Cup 2015 saw superyacht Silencio once again win the Millennium Cup division, with Steinlager 2 yacht taking the first place in the Pacific Cup Division.
Super yacht Silencio has become the winner of the Millennium Cup division on Day 1 of the currently running NZ Millennium Cup 2015, while sailing yacht Antaeus has won in the Pacific Cup division.
