J Class yachts to compete in 2015 Royal Yacht Squadron Bicentenary International Regatta

At least three of the majestic J Class yachts – sailing yacht Lionheart, charter yacht Ranger and superyacht Velsheda -will attend the upcoming 2015 Royal Yacht Squadron Bicentenary International Regatta, running in July.

New 80ft super yacht BRENTA 80 DC is currently under construction at the all-new German shipyard, Michael Schmidt Yachtbau. The vessel has been superbly penned by Lorenzo Argento of Brenta Design, with interior design by Sir David Chipperfield.

Sailing yacht Oyster 825 to be presented at boot Dusseldorf as the largest sailing yacht on display

Oyster Yachts will be exhibiting the 25-metre luxury yacht Oyster 825 at this month’s boot Dusseldorf. Beautifully designed by Rob Humphreys, the vessel is a powerful, optionally carbon rigged yacht, yet one easily short-handed with the aid of joystick and hydraulic sail controls.

A great success of McConaghy-built yachts at 70th Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race

The recently concluded 70th Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race has been marked by a huge success of McConaghy-built vessels. Bob Oatley’s Reichel/Pugh 100 sailing yacht Wild Oats XI has won line honours for 8th time, while Farr 43 yacht Wild Rose has become the overall winner of the race on corrected time.

Esimit Europa project celebrating 20 years this year

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Esimit Europa project, started by Igor Simčič in 1995. Since 2010, the project has been represented by one of world’s fastest and technologically most advanced yachts – 100-foot sailing yacht Esimit Europa 2.

Three Dubois-designed yachts to attend New Zealand Millennium Cup 2015

This month’s New Zealand Millennium Cup will host three luxury vessels designed by Dubois: sailing yacht Janice of Wyoming, superyacht Silvertip as well as charter yacht Bliss. Ed Dubois continues to support the New Zealand’s new build market and industry.
