Panerai British Classic Week 2014 has concluded in a spectacular style, with the overall victory for Christine and Giovanni Belgrano’s sailing yacht Whooper. The 2015 race will run from July 18 to 25.
The Long Inshore Race was part of Day 5 of the currently running Panerai British Classic Week 2014. The whole fleet sailed the same course, which took the yachts out into the Eastern Solent for 25 miles of sailing in a 8-12 knot southeasterly breeze.
Day 4 of the currently running Panerai British Classic Week 2014 featured one class race as well as the traditional Ladies Race. Racing will continue until Friday, July 18, 2014.
Peugeot Design Lab has been nominated for the International Yacht & Aviation Award 2015 with their 30-metre sailing yacht concept, entering the ‘Concept up to 40m’ category.
Day Three of the currently running Panerai British Classic Week saw the fleet of 52 yachts attend exciting races in the Central Solent, run by Squadron Racing Ltd.
Superbly penned by Ed Dubois, the 30-metre charter yacht Nostromo has undergone some refit works, performed by her home yard. Pendennis. These included interior modifications.
The majestic 46-metre superyacht Christopher returned to her home yard Pendennis for her annual Lloyd’s survey this winter, before attending the 2014 Pendennis Cup, where she took second place overall.
Thanks to their three new construction halls, Pendennis was very busy with superyacht refit projects in the winter 2013/14. Among the vessels refitted by the Falmouth yard belong charter yacht Nostromo as well as superyacht Christopher.
The all-new Perini Navi 60m series super yacht PERSEUS³ (P3, hull C.2218) will make her debut at the upcoming Monaco Yacht Show 2014 in September. This majestic sloop has been designed by Perini Navi naval architects, in partnership with Ron Holland.
Chris Brown has become a new Business Development Manager for the New Zealand superyacht shipyard, Alloy Yachts. He was the Project Coordinator for such outstanding vessels as 67,2m luxury sailing yacht Vertigo.
The second day of racing at the currently running Panerai British Classic Week 2014 saw sailing yacht Nausicaa beat the big boats, followed by Whooper yacht, placing second.
