This year’s 25th Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup officially kicked off yesterday, on September 1, 2014. Day 1 was marked by the victory of charter yacht Ranger in J-Class.

August 23, 2014, saw the launch of the 43-metre super yacht COLUMBIA at Eastern Shipbuilding in Panama City, Florida. Set to be displayed at the 2014 Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show, she is is a replica of the famous 1923 classic Gloucester fishing schooner Columbia.
The very first 50-metre composite motor yacht will be developed by the Turkish sailing yacht manufacturer Esenyacht, in partnership with the Swedish design firm, Mannerfelt Design Team.
